Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of the TaskBridge website and mobile application (the "Service"), operated by TaskBridge Digital Services (SMC-Private) Limited ("TaskBridge", "we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. What TaskBridge is
TaskBridge is an online platform that connects people who need local tasks or errands performed ("Buyers") with individuals who offer to perform them ("Agents"). Agents are independent individuals, not employees of TaskBridge. TaskBridge provides the platform and related tools such as identity verification, in-app chat, ratings and dispute review.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement.
- You must give accurate information and keep your account secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- Agents must complete identity verification before accepting tasks. We may refuse, suspend or remove any account at our discretion where verification fails or these Terms are broken.
3. Using the Service
- Buyers must describe tasks truthfully and lawfully.
- Agents must perform accepted tasks with reasonable care and as described.
- You must not use the Service for anything illegal, harmful, fraudulent or misleading, including requests involving illegal goods or services, or to take communication or payment off the platform in order to avoid its protections.
- You must treat other users with respect.
4. Payments
The way a task is paid for (directly between Buyer and Agent, or through the platform for certain task types) is shown in the app before you confirm the task. You agree to pay the agreed price for completed tasks. Any fees charged by TaskBridge will be shown before you confirm.
5. Cancellations and disputes
A task may be cancelled by agreement of both parties through the app. If the parties disagree, either party may open a dispute. We may review task records, including messages and location history, and make a decision that both parties accept as part of using the Service.
6. Ratings and content
You may post ratings and messages that are honest and lawful. You give us permission to display them in the Service. We may remove content that breaks these Terms.
7. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end your access if you break these Terms, put others at risk, or misuse the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion as described in our Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimers and limits of liability
The Service is provided "as is". TaskBridge verifies Agents using the checks described in the app but does not guarantee the conduct, quality or results of any task. To the maximum extent allowed by law, TaskBridge is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability relating to a task is limited to the fees we received for that task.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. Continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Courts in Pakistan have jurisdiction over disputes arising from them.
